حقق فيلم "Minority Report" للممثل الأميركي توم كروز نجاحا كبيرا منذ إطلاقه عام 2002، لكن ما لم يتخيله ملايين المشاهدين حول العالم، هو إمكانية تطبيق تقنية مشابهة في أرض الواقع، وهو ما حدث في اليابان، بفضل كاميرات مراقبة تضبط السارق قبل أن يقوم بالسرقة.
وقامت شركة يابانية بابتكار تقنية جديدة، يتم وصلها بكاميرات المراقبة في المتاجر، وهي قادرة على مراقبة الناس وكشف السارقين قبل أن ينفذوا جريمتهم.
وتعتمد تقنية الذكاء الاصطناعي على مجموعة من العوامل لتحديد هوية السارق، إذ تقوم بتحليل وجوه الناس بصورة فورية، ومراقبة لغة أجسادهم، وتصرفاتهم، لتحديد ما إذا كان الشخص مثيرا للشك أم لا، حسب ما ذكرت وكالة "بلومبيرغ".
وبعد جمع البيانات، يمنح البرنامج الأشخاص الموجودين في المكان، "علامة" أو "تقييما".
وفي حال سجل شخص ما علامة مرتفعة، أي أنه محل شك، فإن البرنامج يرسل تنبيها للعاملين في المتجر، عبر تطبيق ذكي على هواتفهم، للتوجه لذلك الشخص.
وعلى الفور، يتوجه أحد العاملين في المتجر إلى الشخص محل الشك، ليسأله عما إذا كان بحاجة للمساعدة.
ويقول خبراء الأمن، إن تطبيق هذه الطريقة من قبل العاملين في المتجر، سيمنع اللص من السرقةوسيخيفه.
وبالفعل، فقد لجأ عدد من المتاجر اليابانية لهذه التقنية الجديدة لمنع السرقات، وقد أثبتت نجاحها في متجر بعد أن تم ضبط شخص وهو يقوم بالسرقة.
